In December 2013, Time Magazine elected Pope Francis as Person of the Year: “This man has the power to change the world.” Only two other popes have graced the cover of Time Magazine as Person of the Year: John XXIII and John Paul II. Francis would have been inconceivable without John and John Paul. To celebrate their canonization on April 27, 2014, the magazine illustrates their work and influence within the Catholic Church, which paved the way for Pope Francis. The film will be supported by interviews with renowned experts such as Gudrun Sailer (Radio Vatican), American journalist John L. Allen (focus on the Vatican) and Msgr. Slawomier Oder (Postulate of the beatification process of John Paul II).
