NOT WITHOUT US!

Fourteen countries, 16 children, five continents, one voice – our young protagonists' backgrounds and personalities are as diverse as their fears, hopes and dreams are similar. Whether they grew up in a privileged environment in the affluent western world, in the poor regions of Africa or Asia, a slum, township, city, province, steppe, rainforest, plateau, snow-covered mountain, small town, river delta or some remote, idyllic part of the world – environmental pollution, climate change, destruction of natural habitats and resources are universal topics that affect them all. And something all the children share is a fear of war, disaster, abuse and violence. The 16 children in this film reveal their thoughts, desires, fears and hopes. Inquisitive and hungry for education, they want to change the world. A film about the future of the planet, a future these children will one day help to shape. And an appeal to us all: NOT WITHOUT US!
